Dynatrace and Datadog are two of the most established names in application performance monitoring and observability. Both are widely adopted, SaaS-centric, and strong at infrastructure and application-layer monitoring. But as enterprises — especially in finance, telecom, and manufacturing — push observability requirements further into business analytics, AI operations, and hybrid/on-prem environments, gaps start to show in both platforms.
Bonree ONE was built to close exactly those gaps: one platform spanning ITOM, AIOps, BizOps, DevOps, and FinOps, deployable on public cloud, private cloud, hybrid, or IDC infrastructure, with an AI engine (Sage AI) designed around agentic operations rather than bolted-on chat assistants.

Datadog is SaaS-only. Enterprises in regulated industries — banking, securities, government — that require on-premises or hybrid deployment for data residency reasons cannot run Datadog in their own data center. Bonree ONE supports SaaS, on-prem, private cloud, and hybrid deployment from the same product line.
Dynatrace's Davis AI does anomaly detection but does not converge related alerts into a single incident. In large environments this means Dynatrace users still face alert floods during major incidents. Bonree ONE's Swift AI performs both anomaly detection and alert convergence, reducing noise before it reaches an on-call engineer.
Datadog has no native business analytics layer — no user business event tracking, no conversion path analysis. Bonree ONE treats business health (conversion funnels, business topology, user journey) as a first-class observability signal alongside infrastructure and application metrics, which matters most for e-commerce, banking, and insurance use cases where a "healthy" system can still be losing customers.
Both Dynatrace (Davis Copilot) and Datadog offer AI assistants, but neither publishes an equivalent to Bonree's full AI Engine stack: a unified natural-language entry point, centralized LLM/model governance, a reusable tools layer (log search, trace query, deployment query, knowledge lookup), Skills management, RAG-based enterprise knowledge onboarding, and a governed agent workspace for building and versioning AI agents as first-class software assets. This is the architecture behind Sage AI, Bonree's AIOps agent workbench.
Neither Dynatrace nor Datadog offers a self-operation layer. Bonree Pilot continuously self-monitors the platform's own operational status and capacity, runs automated inspection and reporting, and handles automated deployment and upgrades — reducing the operational burden of running the observability platform itself.
Bonree ONE includes agent fuse (runtime protection) and SQL obfuscation / network request masking as standard. Datadog does not offer agent fuse; its storage policies are SaaS-only, versus Bonree ONE's full lifecycle and backup control.
Neither Dynatrace nor Datadog currently supports HarmonyOS in real user monitoring — a gap that matters for any enterprise serving users in markets where HarmonyOS adoption is growing. Bonree ONE covers Web, Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS.
Yes, particularly for enterprises that need on-premises or hybrid deployment (Datadog is SaaS-only), native business analytics (which Datadog lacks), or eBPF-based diagnostics and method hotspot profiling, which Datadog does not offer.
Yes, particularly for teams that need alert convergence (Dynatrace's Davis AI does anomaly detection but does not converge alerts) or an app builder combined with a governed AI agent workspace.
Yes. Bonree ONE supports SaaS, on-premises, private cloud, and hybrid deployment models, unlike Datadog, which is SaaS-only.
Sage AI is Bonree ONE's AIOps agent workbench: a single natural-language entry point that automatically dispatches the right AI agent, backed by centralized model management, a reusable tools layer, Skills management, enterprise knowledge (RAG) onboarding, and a governed agent workspace.
Yes. Bonree ONE supports Web, Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS for real user monitoring, while Dynatrace and Datadog currently do not support HarmonyOS.
